This policy applies to the Unslice mobile app and the Bunker web app and API that support Unslice accounts and swing history.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we store information such as your email address, name, username, sign-in provider details, handedness, and optional handicap. When you use Unslice, we also store club and handedness selections, swing measurements, compact full-body pose paths for replay, PGA comparison selections, and related timestamps. Older swings may retain legacy session metadata. Authentication cookies and session records are used to keep you signed in and secure your account.
2. Camera and swing analysis
Unslice analyzes camera frames on your device using on-device pose estimation. Raw camera frames, videos, images, and rendered animations are not sent to or stored by Bunker. For each new swing, the app sends a compact, sampled full-body pose path so the swing can be reconstructed and replayed later, along with numerical measurements and related selections. These can include timing, posture and rotation estimates, tracking confidence, handedness, club, and detected swing flags.
3. Reference data and service providers
PGA reference player and pose data is stored separately from user swing history and is used to provide same-club comparisons. We also use hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers to operate the apps and send account emails. Providers process information to provide these services on our behalf.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain Unslice, authenticate users, sync swing history between the mobile app and web service, compare pose paths with PGA references, respond to support requests, and protect and troubleshoot the service. We do not sell personal information. AI-assisted analysis of swing history is planned, but is not currently available. Swing data is not currently sent to an external AI service. We will update this policy before enabling an AI feature.
5. Account and data deletion
You can permanently delete your account and associated profile, authentication records, legacy session records, and saved swings at any time from Settings in the Unslice mobile app or the Bunker web app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also contact us at [email protected] to ask a privacy question or request help with deletion.
6. Retention and security
We retain account and swing data while your account is active and remove it when you delete your account, except where limited retention is required for security, legal, or operational purposes. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, though no online service can guarantee absolute security.
